Physical Monitoring

Ways of monitoring progress of projects physically:
Market Place event: end of April or May so half way through the first incarnation of the AMP scheme.
A chance for the projects to get together , share tips, concerns, success stories, disappointments etc. and eat good food. Allows us to add extra training, conduct qualitative analysis and begin to discover if some projects aren’t working out well either from talking with them or their absence from the event.
Activities for the Market Place event:

Mentor of the week films:
A chance for us to physically attend a mentoring session, talk to mentors, mentees, staff and conduct a brief interview for the film part of it – whilst we are there it allows us to have an informal chat about how they are finding the scheme. This will only be a random selection but can be a monitoring tool and helps to spread good news/practice etc.

Attending Mentoring Session:
Roving/Roaming support team Melissa/Jamie/Luke. Allows us to get insight into how the mentoring scheme is running, get involved with mentoring, offer advice or help to the mentors. Commend best practice and bring to the attention of other participants via the blog.

Qualitative Analysis:
Roving/Roaming support team Melissa/Jamie/Luke to conduct qualitative Analysis for people involved with the AMP scheme. Physical meeting is perhaps more likely to get participants opening up honestly about their experiences. Allows us to build up a body of information about the project, case studies, quotes, common themes identified etc that we can use in a report. These interviews can be conducted at a Market Place Event or by the roving/roaming support team at or just after a mentoring session.
