Wow, you all sure do work fast! I'm impressed. I love the acronym and I think there is a lot of potential for advertising and marketing with that one!
I think a blog similar to the SAP scheme would work perfect! I think that is an excellent way to keep in contact and get information.
I really like the "create a legacy" and "recognition" parts of the mentoring benefits. I would have never thought about them, but I do think those are great benefits!
Under the training, I think that looks great. When you have the training on how to lead a group session, you could have the facilitator do a mock session. We sometimes do that with our Supplemental instruction training. We also have a binder that has SI training documents such as collaborative learning techniques. If you are interested, I could see if Leslie Galbreath would pass along that document. Just let me know.
I like how you ahve the various resources spelled out. Sometimes the mentor will need knowledge about these services, so a possibility for future training would be to have those departments come and do a short presentation.
I like how CELT will break up into smaller groups for support too. I think that can work well. The exhange of ideas between mentoring schemes is important as well. One of the most beneficial training that we do at the Talent Development Center is break-out sessions where we talk about what we do and how we do it or how we would react to a certain situation. This is done in a small group with each person in the group from a different area and the exchange of ideas is incredible.
The launch email looks fantastic!
Well, I think that is it. As always, if you need anything else, just let me know!
